A Hidden Gem for the Whole Family

Petervale Guest Farm

Nestled in the Ceres valley up against the mountains and under a canopy of Pine trees, this was truly a great find. Petervale Guest Farm ticked all the right boxes.

With all this nature around for kids to explore and a dam that just adds more fun to the experience. The no music policy adds to the tranquil and peaceful experience.

For an added extra, you can experience staying in a teepee which the kids are sure to love.

Feeding the farm animals

highlights

One of our kids’ highlights was feeding the animals and milking a cow with Reuben Roux.

Feel free to bring your bike or walk the trail to a beautiful waterfall and see why they call it God’s Bath. The waterfall is not advisable for younger kids and the trail can get tricky.

Two things that added value to me was the fresh spring water on tap and sometimes hard to come by but a campsite that recycles.

Remember to bring lots of ice as there is no electricity but there is a communal freezer.

Thanks again Reuben for an awesome camping experience.
